Conservation of Wood Samples Using Natural Freeze Drying

One of the steps in conserving wooden archaeological materials is to freeze dry the artifact. This project is a feasibility study to determine if this can be done using natural means rather than a mechanical freeze drying system.

This project will be presented at conferences in 2024. The page will be updated after presentation.
